Join us for an Eel Grass workshop taught by CCE’s Marine Meadows scientists in partnership with The Moriches Bay Project and Brookhaven Supervisor Edward Romaine and Councilman Dan Panico.

This workshop will teach participants of all ages about the importance of eel grass to our marine ecosystem while helping MBP and CCE staff weave Eelgrass into burlap disks which will be used for local restorations efforts in our bays.
Restoring our local eelgrass meadows will give our fish and shellfish species a better habitat and improve the overall health of our bays.
