January 18th: The Sea Scout Ship 908 Oyster Hatchery and the Moriches Bay Project™ worked together to remove a floating upwelling system from the waters in North Sea. The upwelling system, capable of producing an estimated 3 million clams and oysters, was placed on dry land to undergo mainanence. It will then be placed back in the water in the spring.
