June 28th: After months of planning, the Lashley Beach Oyster Farm was finally installed and is currently growing another 5,000 oysters! They are the future generation of what will hopefully be a self sustaining population. Thank you to all who attended including Cornell Cooperative, Westhampton Beach Trustees and Mayor, Southampton Trustees, First Coastal, and Windswept Marina. Thank you also to those families who made oyster cages, and donated. It was a positive step forward in the community and the Moriches Bay Project is looking to do many more!
