Thanks to all who helped make this season a success!
The Moriches Bay Project is proud to announce, with the help of Greg Rivara and Kim Tetrault from Cornel Cooperative Extension, we have successful put roughly 500,000 beautiful adult oysters in the bay this season!
This could not have been done without the MBP team and our volunteers led by Jon Jeanes and Anthony Sferrazza. Their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm were inspiring.
A special thanks to WHB Mayor Moore, Brian Tymann, Ralph Urban, and all the WHB trustees along with Quoque Mayor Sartorius and his team for helping us to find a home for our FL.U.PSY.s. We are honored to have their continued confidence and support.
We are so thrilled with the outcome this year and are looking forward to continuing our work next season!
If you would like to discuss helping the Moriches Bay Project with our mission to improve water quality, one oyster at a time, please send us an email! We are always looking for volunteers who want to get involved.
