Moriches Bay Project believes that teaching our youth to be stewards of the Bay is crucial for long term success in improving the health of our local waters. Through community and school based events, children learn the importance of keeping our local bays clean and what they can do to help.
Through education and hands-on activities, Moriches Bay Project strives to inform and excite students, emphasizing that they are never too young to make help a difference!
MBP recently spoke to first grade students at the Westhampton Beach Elementary School. The students participated in making oyster cages!
