November 23rd: Moriches Bay Project™ visits the Sea Scout Ship 908 Oyster Hatchery! See Pitures in Photo Gallery

November 21st – 22nd: Three months have passed since the opening of the first oyster garden in Moriches Bay. Most of the 5,000 oysters grew from half an inch to over 2 inches in length! The oysters were thinned out and redistributed into 10 additional cages to avoid crowding and competition for food. See Pictures in our Photo Gallery!
