Our Supporters

Grateful for Our Community

The Moriches Bay Project is truly humbled by the generosity and support of our community. The encouragement we receive from our supporters, local businesses, partners, and government leaders has been invaluable to our mission.

Together, we are making a visible difference—one oyster at a time.

While there are countless individuals and organizations to thank, we would like to recognize two people who have made a lasting impact on our work: Greg Rivara and Kim Tetrault of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Their knowledge, dedication, and generosity have deeply touched our organization. It is an honor to work alongside them, and our gratitude cannot be fully expressed in words.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Town of Brookhaven, the Town of Southampton, and Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine. From the very beginning, they welcomed us with open arms and a shared commitment to protecting our local waters. Their continued partnership and support have been instrumental in the growth and success of the Moriches Bay Project.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us.

In Memoriam

Remembering James Dolber

The Dolber Family Foundation’s donation to the Moriches Bay Project is in memory of their son and brother, James Dolber. James was an avid fisherman who pursued a degree in marine biology and worked on fishing charters during the summer. Though his life was short, it was marked by a passion for water and a love for the Long Island coastline.
