We Love Our Supporters
The Moriches Bay Project team is humbled by the generosity of our community. The support and confidence we receive from our supporters, businesses, partners, and the local government have been invaluable to us. With all of your support “together” we are making a difference that is clear to see ONE oyster at a time. We are proud and thankful for this opportunity and for all of you.
There are countless people to thank the list could go on and on but there are two individuals who have touched our hearts in a special way: Greg Rivara and Kim Tetrault from Cornell Cooperative Extension. It is an honor to work with these brilliant men. Thank you will never be enough for all they have given to the Moriches Bay Project.
A warm and sincere appreciation to the town of Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine and Councilman Dan Panico. They have welcomed us in their hometown with open arms, ready to help from the day we met them. They have provided overwhelming support to the project.
Remembering James Dolber
The Dolber Family Foundation’s donation to the Moriches Bay Project is in memory of their son and brother, James Dolber. James was an avid fisherman who pursued a degree in marine biology and worked on fishing charters during the summer. Though his life was short, it was marked by a passion for water and a love for the Long Island coastline.
